Her Palm Oil After-image paintings bring an issue that seems far away close to home. Each composition highlights how Miamians may be impacted by the production and consumption of palm oil – whether it be via extreme weather patterns from deforestation, flooding from sea level rise due to global warming, or the loss of our favorite animal to extinction.
