Morty was living in a deplorable situation, rendered blind by his obese unhealthy conditions, hooves overgrown. The kind folk at Arthur’s Acres convinced the current ‘caretakers’ to surrender Morty to live in the sanctuary. Morty inspires all who he comes in contact with. In the tradition of portraiture Morty is able to be seen as the noble being that he is.
