#SavePigs4Regan Archival Pigment Prints
20x 16" Archival Pigment Print
Border 2”
On the morning of Friday, June 19, Regan Russell, a Toronto Pig Save supporter and PETA member, was reportedly struck and killed by a truck that was transporting animals to slaughter. The tragedy occurred during a Toronto Pig Save vigil, while Regan and other activists were bearing witness to the suffering of slaughter-bound pigs and showing them the love and kindness all animals deserve.
Regan spent her life opposing oppression and injustice. Her passion was inspiring to so many. Thanks to her efforts and those of activists like her, countless people have been inspired to do better—such as by no longer eating bacon and recognizing that when used for food, pigs (who've been known to save the lives of others, including their human friends) are crammed onto trucks in all types of weather and taken to the slaughterhouse, where their throats are slit.
To honor this wonderfully kind soul who cared about all living, feeling beings, we are directing all profits from the sale of this item toward PETA's work for pigs.
